End of Fellowship and Fall Events

Sorry for the delay! The end of summer and the first few weeks of senior (!) year were really hectic.

My fellowship in LGBT Community Development is over, sadly, and this is most likely my last post for the blog.

First, thanks to everyone for all of the help and support over the summer and now!  The fellowship was an awesome experience, and the response from everyone to various projects was fantastic.

The Resource Room is finally finished (for the moment), so feel free to go check things out, hang out, and use the resources.  The LGBT Reception was also really great.  Thanks to everyone who came to the event.

Just a heads up, this week is MGLCC's annual film festival, Outflix, which is a great way to see LGBT films that won't screen in the bigger theaters and a great way to support the LGBT community in Memphis.  Check out their website for a schedule and more information.  I went to see a movie over the weekend with Pride Housing, and it was awesome.

Also, GSA meetings are here again!  Come every Thursday at 8pm in Rhea Lounge.
